Jereh Oil & Gas Engineering Corporation – Abu Dhabi, a key unit of China’s Jereh Oil & Gas Engineering, has been awarded three major oil and gas development packages by Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) Onshore with a combined contract value of $2.7 billion.
The packages cover the Ruwais Diyab unconventional gas development, Bab/North East Bab facilities and Bu Hasa facilities development.
The first project - Ruwais Diyab unconventional gas project - accounts for $1.7 billion of the total awards, representing the largest component of the disclosed packages, it stated.
For this contract, Jereh Oil & Gas will be responsible for the design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of facilities and pipelines, said the company in its filing to Shenzhen Stock Exchange.
The Chinese group will then run the project for five years after it goes into production, it stated.
The second project, worth about $600 million, will involve the Bab and North East Bab oilfields, with an estimated execution period of five years, while the third project worth $393 million will involve the Bu Hasa, Bida Qimzan and Huwaila oilfields.
The Bu Hasa project has a three-year service period.
Jereh Oil & Gas Engineering said the developments are expected to support ADNOC's efforts to expand hydrocarbon production capacity, strengthen gas supply infrastructure and enhance operational efficiency across its onshore assets.-TradeArabia News Service
