DP World bolsters Thailand supply chain network

DP World has opened a new contract logistics distribution centre in Bang Na, Thailand, expanding its regional logistics capabilities and strengthening support for customers operating across key manufacturing and consumer industries.

Covering approximately 10,000 sq m, the facility is located within a modern industrial park in Bang Na, one of Greater Bangkok’s established distribution hubs. The site offers strategic connectivity to Laem Chabang Port and the manufacturing clusters of Thailand’s Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), positioning it as a gateway for domestic and international trade.

Designed to support high-value and time-sensitive cargo, the distribution centre provides storage and distribution services for sectors including consumer electronics, semiconductors and automotive manufacturing. Operating 24/7, the facility enables businesses to manage critical inventory more effectively while maintaining resilient and responsive supply chains.

“Thailand sits at the heart of some of Asia Pacific’s important manufacturing and distribution networks,” said Jeanie Tan, Chief Commercial Officer, Logistics, Asia Pacific, DP World.

The new facility forms part of DP World’s broader strategy to expand its contract logistics footprint across Asia Pacific.
