Msheireb Properties, Qatar’s leading sustainable real estate developer, and International Workplace Group (IWG), the global leader in hybrid-working solutions, have announced the official opening of Signature flexible office and co-working centre in Msheireb Downtown Doha, thus expanding IWG’s presence in Qatar.

IWG is the global leader in its sector, operating approximately 4,000 locations across more than 120 countries, with 83% of Fortune 500 companies among its customers. Signature is IWG’s premium brand of co-working spaces and flexible offices.

The centre, operated under a management agreement between the two companies, offers flexible workspace options for businesses in the mixed-use development, which includes corporate offices, government and media headquarters, retail and cultural facilities, said a statement from Msheireb Properties.

The opening marks a new milestone in Msheireb Downtown Doha’s growth as an integrated business destination. Signature joins a growing commercial community that is home to government and media headquarters and local and international organisations, alongside the Doha Design District, which brings together creatives and entrepreneurs.

The Qatari developer said members get to benefit from everything the city offers. They can reach it through its central location and direct connection to the Doha Metro, enjoy the hospitality, retail and culture of Msheireb Galleria, Msheireb Museums and the city’s international hotels, and work in buildings certified LEED Gold or Platinum. Working there becomes part of a complete urban life, it stated.

Hassan Ali Al Emadi, Chief Commercial Officer at Msheireb Properties, said: "The opening of Signature at Msheireb Downtown Doha is a distinctive addition to the integrated business community we continue to develop, strengthening the city’s position as a leading destination for companies and organisations seeking modern, flexible workspaces."

"Signature’s choice of Msheireb Downtown Doha reflects confidence in the competitive strengths the city offers, combining a strategic location, advanced infrastructure and sustainability in ways that meet the ambitions of the business sector and support its growth. Through partnerships such as this, we continue to attract global concepts that enrich the business environment and strengthen Msheireb Downtown Doha as a destination for investment and talent," he added.

Tareq Al Jaidah, Partner and CEO of Al Jaidah Brothers, said the opening of Signature is an important milestone for IWG in Qatar. "For the first time, we are bringing our premium brand to the Qatari market, alongside the brands that already serve our clients here. The launch responds to a growing number of businesses and professionals looking for a higher standard of workspace and service, while keeping the flexibility that has become central to how they work," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
