Since its founding in 1961 by Franco Agostino, Maus Italia has evolved into a principal manufacturer of tools and machines for the production of heat exchangers and a provider of maintenance services.

The company, whose products will be presented at Gulf Industry Fair, claims it is a market leader in Europe and a major world supplier in its specialised fields.
Maus Italia’s customers are maintenance companies, refineries, chemical plants, engineering and main contracting firms and manufacturers of heat exchangers and boilers.
The company’s products have been utilised by prominent industrial establishments including Saudi Arabia’s Aramco, Gasco of Qatar, KNPC of Kuwait, Alstom of France and Halliburton Kellogg Brown & Root of the US. 
Other companies it has supplied to are Snamprogetti, Fiat Engineering, Technip and Enichem (all of Italy), Belleli Energy and FBM Hudson (both  Italy-UAE), Kellogg JGC (Australia), Belleli Saudi; North Oil Company (Iraq), Bandar Iman Petrochemical Company (Iran) and Petrochimia Uniao (Brazil).
It began with manufacturing tune expanders but over the years it has been offering a complete range of tools and equipment for the production and maintenance of heat exchangers and boilers.
“The product range consists of a very large number of expander models, tools and special machines to cover almost all the needs of our customers,” it says.
For tube sheets preparation, it offers drills, reamers and grooving tools.
For rolling tube expansion, it supplies pneumatic and electric rolling motors, CNC automatic working centres, hydraulic expansion machines and tube expanders.
For tube facing – facing tools and machines and CNC automatic working centres.
For tube to tube and tube to tube sheet welding – orbital welding machines and CNC automatic working centres (for tube to tube sheet only).
For tube bundles insertion – bundle inserting hydraulic equipment.
For testing – testing guns and instruments.
For cutting of tubes/bundles – internal tube cutters, hydraulic internal tube cutter and bundles sawing machine.
For tube bundles extraction – bundle extractors of aerial and mobile types and bundle extractors for the offshore.
For tubes extraction – hydraulic tube and tube pullers (automatic and semi-automatic) and manual tools.
For tubes cleaning – mechanical cleaning equipment and hydraulic cleaning equipment (HP cleaning pumps and robots).
The company has published its 2008 edition catalogue, “Tube bundle heat exchangers maintenance.”
“From the simplest tool to automatic expansion systems each component part is designed, built, assembled and tested in order to guarantee a high level of product security that will satisfy all requirements even in the most difficult situations,” a company spokesman says.
“Dozens of problems are examined and solved daily by our technical office which always comes up with the most suitable solutions.”
