
Cosmoplast, one of the largest manufacturers and suppliers of all kinds of thermoplastic pipes and fittings, recently added GRP pipeline systems to its extensive product range.
The move further enhances the company’s product range comprising uPVC, polyethylene (PE100, PE80, LLDPE), cross-linked polyethylene (PEX), random copolymer polypropylene (PP-R) and glass-reinforced plastic (GRP).
Manholes, pre-insulated pipes, reinforced thermoplastic pipes and fabricated fittings are some of the specialised products included in its diverse product range.
The company’s pipeline systems cater to a wide range of applications covering infrastructure development, plumbing, oil and gas, district cooling, irrigation, landscaping and water extraction.
Cosmoplast is an ISO 9001:2000 certified company and has production facilities spread across Sharjah, Dubai and Abu Dhabi converting over 75,000 tonnes of plastic per annum. It is currently building factories in Saudi Arabia, Moscow and Kaliningrad.
Its product range includes infrastructure pipeline systems comprising uPVC, polyethylene (PE100, PE80, LLDPE), glass reinforced plastic (GRP), well casings and screens and plumbing systems such as uPVC for drainage and water supply, random polypropylene (PP-R), cross linked polyethylene (PEX) and plumbing accessories (compression fittings, pipe clamps, solvent cements, lubricants and cleaners).
Also in the product range are pre-insulated pipes - jacket/core combinations including HDPE-HDPE, HDPE-GRP, HDPE-steel, GRP-GRP and steel and irrigation systems comprising LLDPE, drip pipes, landscape edging and irrigation accessories and reinforced thermoplastics pipes for oil and gas applications, up to 150 bar pressure at 60 deg Celsius.
With the addition of GRP pipeline systems Cosmoplast now manufactures a full range of GRP pipes that cater to all applications.
Furthermore, Cosmoplast can supply uPVC, HDPE and GRP manhole systems. These along with valve boxes and a vacuum sewerage system (a recent venture in the Middle East enabling a very efficient sewerage disposal) fully address the monitoring and control needs as well as landfill applications.
