SAGC and Tecglass roll out mega projects

SAGC and Tecglass have worked on a selection of projects

Successful years of collaboration between Saudi American Glass Company (SAGC) and Tecglass has resulted in outstanding projects.

Saudi American Glass Company (SAGC) is a subsidiary of Glass LLC, the first-of-its-kind and the only glass holding company in the region and part of Dubai Investments. Glass LLC portfolio include Emirates Float Glass, Emirates Glass, Lumiglass and Emirates Insolaire.

Established in 1978, SAGC has diversified its investments to become the best equipped supplier for processed flat glass in the Middle East. SAGC supplies the market with numerous tempered, strengthened and laminated varieties of glass under the K-Lite brand. Saudi-based SAGC is the region’s first and one of the largest Middle Eastern glass manufacturers, annually supplying more than 3 million meters of glass. The company was acquired by Dubai Investments in 2006.

“Tecglass is really honoured to be part of Saudi American Glass digital printing project since the very beginning. Through years of constant hard work and dedication, Saudi American Glass has become a reference in the Middle East with numerous projects completed over the last few years,” the company said in a statement.

In recent years, the two companies have worked on a selection of projects for architectural glass, facades of large buildings with a variety of digital printing techniques. Some of the noteworthy SAGC and Tecglass projects are: Mithaq Tower; expansion of King Khalid International Airport; King Abdullah Financial District - Al Aqeeq de Riad; General Auditing Bureau Project in Riyadh, KSA; and Al Harthy Hotel in Makkah, KSA; and  Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt - New Administrative Capital in Cairo, Egypt.
