DeWalt is introducing in the Middle East new 7-kg hammers as well as five new interior/exterior laser instruments for the construction range.
Discussing the new hammers, Suresh Srinivasan, product manager, Middle East and Africa, DeWalt Industrial Tools, says they are highly innovative and boast the lowest vibration levels on the market
“Three new hammers within the 7-kg range cover all users’ needs,” he says. “The D25700K has standard features but with the greatest performance in its class, the D25701K is for those who want more in terms of comfort and low vibration and the D25840K is a dedicated demolition hammer.”
Elaborating on the new products, Srinivasan says all three machines have a revolutionary system to reduce vibration. “They have a floating handle which provides suspension between the handle and the main unit. No matter where the unit is held along the handle, the reduction in vibration is constant, allowing users to use the tools safely over a significantly longer period of time without compromising performance.”
The D25701K has advanced in vibration reduction via AVC (active vibration control) and in safety clutch via CTC (complete torque control).
Boasting specifications such as 14 joules of impact energy and a BPM of 2,520, the D25701K delivers 525 joules of energy per second, by far the highest in its class.
Extending machine durability is a unique non-pumping beat piece that stops the mechanism sucking debris into the vital components. Additionally, the unit benefits from four seals, ensuring the duct does not penetrate and cause failure in the machine.
Standard equipment includes a heavy-duty carrying case. Also available in this range are the D25700K rotary combination hammer without AVC or CTC and the D25840K 7-kg dedicated chipping hammer.
The company is also expanding its construction range with the introduction of five new interior/exterior laser instruments, namely the DW099P, the DW087K, the DW084K, the DW077 and the DW096PK auto-level kit.
The DW099P is a professional-quality, manual-levelling three-beam stick laser ideal for levelling square and plumb applications. The unit is accurate to +/- 0.3 mm/m and also has three precision vials for increased accuracy in different planes.
The DW087K is a versatile self-levelling cross-line laser that gives perfect vertical and horizontal lines with the touch of a button. The unit is perfect for applications such as aligning wall and ceiling studs, levelling cabinets, light and switch sockets and tile and trim work. It is accurate to +/- 0.3 mm/m and includes an out-of-level indication for increased accuracy.
The DW084K four-dot self-levelling laser is the quickest and easiest way to plumb, square and level internal structures such as partition walls or studs. It is also ideal for the installation of electrical, plumbing or mechanical fixtures.
The DW077 self-levelling laser offers accuracy levels of 0.1mm per m and can be used both horizontally and vertically for applications such as partition layout and screed levelling.
The DW 096PK Auto Level kit makes site levelling quick and easy. It has a range of 100 m, comes complete with tripod and grade rod and is fitted with a magnetically dampened compensator.
