Air-conditioning dealers from across Saudi Arabia were honoured at the first annual dealers conference held by Zamil Air Conditioners’ (ZAC) Unitary & Applied Business Unit in Jeddah. Some of the dealers were rewarded for their impressive sales performance in 2002.
The two-day event provided the opportunity for dealers to meet ZAC’s management team, learn about the new dealer incentive programme, be shown the new marketing and advertising campaigns and learn about the launch of the new package unit PY Comfort series.
The highlight of the event was the awards ceremony, during which eight of the best performing dealers were presented with their prizes. The keys to a Honda Accord, the top prize, were handed over to Abdullatif Al Arfaj from Dammam-based Saudi Aircon for generating most dealer sales in Saudi Arabia. In the same category, the first runner-up, Asmael AC from Dammam received a brand new service van, while second runner-up Abdul Rahman Al Twaim from Jeddah won a home theatre system. Jeddah-based Al Balad AC scooped two prizes - a laptop and a Dubai trip - in the categories for “Most Sales of Concealed Units” and “Most Sales Growth in the Western Region.”
Abdulla Al Zamil, ZAC senior vice president, commented: “ Our first dealer conference and new incentives package has filled everyone with the drive and enthusiasm to reap the rewards of even better sales performance.”
This summer ZAC expects to pass a major milestone in producing its five millionth room air conditioner.
