Pelco has announced the integration between its open software video management system and Intransa’s VideoAppliance family of IP server, storage and server/storage appliances for physical security users, as Intransa joins the Pelco Partner First Programme.
According to Pelco officials, Pelco Digital Sentry and DS XPress video management software are now available as preloaded options with Intransa VideoAppliance for new IP surveillance deployments. Systems with Digital Sentry pre-loaded may be purchased from Intransa. Activation licences may be purchased from Pelco.
“The integration of popular Pelco products with simple-to-use IP appliances such as Intransa’s offerings further demonstrate our continued commitment to be an open systems provider,” says Dave deLisser, Pelco director of third party integration and strategic planning.
“The integration and collaboration between Pelco and Intransa will greatly benefit our mutual customers,” says George Vaiser, Intransa vice president, Video System Applications.
Meanwhile, Pelco announced that Addis Ababa Bole International Airport chose Pelco Inc as the provider for its digital video recording. As the most advanced airport in the East Africa region, the new Endura video surveillance system will be used for security monitoring as well as improving airport operation activities.
