The emirate of Umm Al Quwain is gaining an industrial focus with the completion of a town-sized development called Emirates Modern Industrial Area.

The complex has been developed by Tameer Holding, one of the Gulf’s leading property development firms.
“The plan of the area incorporates commercial, industrial and residential activities featuring labour camps, shops and large-scale storage facilities,” a Tameer spokesman said. “Complementing the nearby development of AlSalam City, the entire industrial area has been constructed on a total space of 80 million sq ft at a cost of $68.2 million.”
