The Sitaco catalogue

Jeddah-based Saudi Industrial Tools Corporation, distributors of industrial tools and equipment, has held several seminars in November and December to promote its products and the new edition of its master catalogue.

The seminars, held in five-star hotels in Riyadh, Jeddah and Jubail and Yanbu, were attended by Sitaco’s major customers including Saudi Aramco, Sabic, the Royal Commission of Jubail and Yanbu, Saudia Airlines, Saudi Electricity Company, the Navy, Air force, SWCC, ABB, Alstom and ABV.
“The idea of having a catalogue emerged from the owners’ concern to reach the largest customer base everywhere and to provide them with their needs of tools and equipment from one source and under one roof,” said a Sitaco spokesman.
“The Sitaco catalogue is the only comprehensive material of its kind in the Middle East and Africa.”
The catalogue, prepared entirely by Sitaco staff, contains a variety of items needed by local markets and informs them of where to procure their stocks. It has been designed to make it easy to locate products. Similar products are grouped and each item is given a serial number.
The catalogue, released on the occasion of the 30th anniversary, followed ones launched in 1980 and 1998. The latest one took two years to develop and was preceded by a questionnaire sent to customers to determine what they wanted.
Sitaco markets a wide range of products including hand tools, test instruments, machine shop equipment and tools, abrasive tools and equipment, hydraulic tools, pneumatic components for automation; lifting, storage and handling equipment, safety tools and equipment, automotive workshop tools and equipment and gardening tools and related equipment.
The list of products also covers electric power tools, construction tools, air-operated tools and related equipment for all those items, maintenance and lubrication material, welding equipment and consumables and hoses for all applications.
The products come from some of the world’s greatest names in the business. Among them are Ingersoll-Rand, Cebora, Washington Alloy, Sankyo, PFERD, Camozzi, Metabo, Elora, Kranzie, Impero, Dormer, Europress, Guhring, Greenlee, Enerpac, Faraone, SP Yools and Mitutoyo.
