Paspaley Pearls has just opened two Paspaley boutiques in Dubai.

Located in the Burjuman Centre and Mall of the Emirates, the boutiques feature a comprehensive range of Paspaley strands and Paspaley pearl jewellery.
Paspaley is the world’s leading South Sea pearl company, growing more than 60 per cent by value of the world’s South Sea pearls. Recognised internationally as the source of the world’s finest quality pearls, Paspaley supplies pearls to the world’s most exclusive jewellery houses, including Tiffany & Co, David Yurman, Mikimoto and Harry Winston, for their high-end collections.
The company’s in-house collections are designed and crafted in its jewellery workshop in Australia by master jewellers who specialise in South Sea pearls. The collections include Bella, Embrace the Sea and Stellar, which is the most recent. Paspaley also collaborates with international jewellery designers such as Lorenz Bäumer, Lançon, Stefan Hafner, Gisèle Moore and Gimel to create unique collections.
The reason for taking a new retail venture into Dubai was obvious, according to Paspaley chairman Nicholas Paspaley.
“We have long been aware of the importance of Dubai in world luxury retail terms, and of the Dubai consumer’s demand for the best of everything, including South Sea pearl strands and jewellery,” Paspaley says.
“It was a natural place for Paspaley to establish its boutiques, one in Dubai’s Burjuman Centre and the second in the newly opened Mall of the Emirates.”
Paspaley’s involvement in pearling dates back to 1935 when Nicholas Paspaley’s father, Nicholas Paspaley Senior, first collected mother-of-pearl shell in Australia’s northern waters. He established a family concern that has evolved to become the world’s leading South Sea pearling company, with many diversified interests. Paspaley is still proudly family-owned and operated.
Visitors to the Paspaley boutiques in Dubai can expect to see a comprehensive range of Paspaley jewellery, including major pieces from the Stellar, Embrace the Sea, Bella, Unique and Embrace collections, as well as a full range of the legendary Paspaley strands, the finest of which can take many years to create, such is the rarity of the quality of the pearls used. There is also a strong representation of one of the hot signature Paspaley pieces, the South Sea pearl charm bracelet.
