Master Foods Middle East, makers of the world famous Galaxy chocolate, was recently awarded the annual Best Food Factory Award 2000 by the Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority (Jafza).

"Master Foods has excelled in all the areas of selection criteria such as outstanding safety and environment standards, good housekeeping and good overall cooperation with the free zone authority," said Jafza assistant managing director Ahmed Butti Ahmed.

"Our best practice policies enforce regular testing, maintenance and team training to ensure that our products meet the high standards expected by our customers in the region, said factory manager Maher Batrouny.
