Aggreko, the international group specialising in the supply of temporary electrical power, temperature control and oil-free compressed air, has opened business in Cairo, Egypt.
This is the ninth location operated from the Jebel Ali-based regional headquarters of Aggreko Middle East.
A full sales and service facility is available in Cairo, enabling Aggreko to service on a local basis a rapidly developing and emerging market.
Aggreko Middle East has appointed Drexel Oilfield Equipment as its agent in Egypt, and will second to Drexel Sales and Engineering Service staff on a permanent basis alongside a fleet of UK-manufactured silenced diesel generators, LV & HV transformers, resistive and reactive loadbanks and fuel management equipment.
"We are pleased to be entering into the Egyptian market and look forward to being able to provide first-class, wholly reliable power rental solutions to both the on-and off-shore sectors" said a spokesman.
Operating from nine locations across the Middle East, Aggreko is the world leader in providing cost-effective power rental solutions, with purpose built equipment from 15 kVA to 1250 kVA which when working in parallel is capable of delivering multi-megawatt packages to meet customer requirements, says operations director Ian Rogers. In addition, Aggreko has all the necessary ancillary equipment readily available through a 24 hours a day, 7 days a week service network, he says.
