Oman’s Bahwan Engineering Company (BEC) has won two packages (MC1 and MC3), not one, of the New Muscat International Airport at a value of $650 million, the company said clarifying points made in a Gulf Industry October report.

It also said the scope of its work in the Sohar IPP involved only installation of various kinds of equipment and not supply.

BEC projects have included Sohar Power and Desalination Plant Phase 1, Sohar IPP Phase 2 and Al Aweer Power Station 600 MW.
