Flexible workplaces provider Regus will manage an upcoming Business Centre at the Dubai World Central (DWC) headquarters, DWC announced.

A DWC statement said the Business Centre would be a one-stop solution for companies seeking small office space, meeting rooms and video communication facilities. It will be used by both local companies looking to work from the prestigious DWC address and businesses keen on establishing an initial presence in the region. Any firm that signs a minimum one-year lease at the Business Centre will be entitled to apply for a trade licence.

“A demonstration of DWC’s commitment to providing world-class, value-added services to investors and tenants, the Business Centre will provide a fully flexible way to work through the innovative Business Lounge allowing members to take advantage of secure Internet access, comfortable work space and all-day refreshments on a drop-in basis,” the statement said.

Rashed Buqara’a, chief operating officer, Dubai Aviation City Corporation, remarked: “The upcoming opening of our Business Centre – managed by Regus, a leader in workplace solutions, underlines our focus on providing first-class facilities to companies that choose to locate at Dubai World Central, which already offers a host of strategic advantages.”

Flexible solutions
Buqara’a added that the Business Centre highlighted a commitment to providing flexible solutions that meet the needs of any client no matter how large or small.

Paulo Dias, CEO for EMEA at Regus, commented: “As the operator of 1,200 business centres across 550 cities in 90 countries, we will put our international experience to work for Dubai World Central. It is vitally important for individuals to have a place to work and hold meetings in a professional environment, as well as having access to administrative and printing support, all within the heart of the region’s first aerotropolis.”

The Dubai World Central aerotropolis comprises the new Al Maktoum International Airport, set to be the world’s largest in volume and size upon completion, and the adjacent specialised free zones focused on fast-cycle logistics and aviation industries.
