Tripp Lite has announced the Middle East launch of its latest line of industrial rack enclosures designed to protect essential electronic equipment from harsh environmental conditions.
The SR42UBEIS and the SR42UBZ4 are heavy duty 42U rack enclosures models with a Zone 4 seismic rating. Both the models can withstand extreme movement and vibration, equivalent to the stress of a major earthquake or extreme vibrations and movements produced by vehicles and machinery.
The SR42UBEIS industrial rack enclosure model is described as the ideal rack enclosure for high-demand work spaces. The unit comes with a Nema 12 protection rating and offers a sealed and locking cabinet to protect against harsh elements. The SR42UBEIS has a louvered front and rear doors with sealing gaskets that allow ample airflow and keep out dripping and splashing water. The model also comes with built-in removable dust filters, which can be replaced with standard furnace filters. Dust and drip resistant ports allow for easy cable access and can support up to 3,000 pounds, both in stationary and rolling conditions. It complies with TIA/EIA-310-D, IEC 60297-3-100 and DIN 41494 standards for rack enclosures.
“These rack enclosures are ideal for customers who need to protect sensitive electronic equipment in harsh working environments that would overwhelm a typical rack,” said Vipin Sharma, vice president, Middle East, Africa and CIS Sales, Tripp Lite. “We continue to respond to our customers’ suggestions, with the goal of designing products and solutions which meet their needs.”
SR42UBZ4 for Zone 4 rating
The latest models withstand harsh conditions
The SR42UBZ4 seismic-rated enclosure model is ideal for secure, high-density server and networking applications in IT environments requiring Zone 4 rating. Designed with provisions to integrate cooling, power distribution and cable management, smart rack enclosures make ideal homes for mission-critical equipment. The enclosure has been designed with a textured powder-coat finish that resists tough environmental conditions and has a massive ventilation capacity that meets server manufacturer requirements. The SR42UBZ4 comes with a locking reversible front and rear doors, which utilise a split rear door design that reduces clearance requirements and saves space. There are two locking removable panels per side similar to the front and rear doors and built-in baying tabs to be combined securely in rows.
“The release of these two new enclosures complements our commitment to roll out products and solutions that have been designed to answer the challenges of the Middle East region’s move towards improved protection while also providing expert technical advice and guidance on IT infrastructure expansion. Our aim is to help our customers move forward and help key in an increase in productivity and efficiency by utilising our integrated suite of products,” concluded Sharma.
