

1979: The Kuwaiti government established The Public Warehousing Company (PWC) KSC retaining the majority stake.
The company offered traditional warehousing services – essentially rental of storage space to companies and individuals.
1997: The Kuwaiti Government sells off its controlling equity in PWC and the present management took over the mantle. The new management begins the transformation from a traditional public warehousing provider to a full-fledged third party logistics company.
1999: PWC acquires US-based Inspection and Control Services (ICS), a provider of price information to customs authorities.
2001: Launch of MicroClear, a highly configurable customs application platform.
2002: Signs joint venture agreement with Jawad Business Group to form PWC Logistics Bahrain.
2003 May: Acquires Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZ) warehousing and transportation assets of UAE-based MMI (Maritime and Mercantile International) logistics and signs an agreement to provide MMI with warehousing and distribution services in Dubai.
2003 October: As PWC’s ground-handling subsidiary, National Aviation Service (NAS) begins operations at Kuwait International Airport, offering ramp, cargo and passenger services.
2003 November: Signs regional strategic partnership with Tristar Transport, bulk liquid transportation company, acquiring 80 per cent stake in the company.
2004 May: Signs joint venture agreement with W J Towell & Company of Oman to provide fully integrated supply chain services in the Sultanate.
2004 May: Signs JV with Al Faisaliah Group and Al Munajem Group to form PWC Logistics Saudi Arabia.
2004 July: PWC Logistics stock added to the Dow Jones DIFC Arabia Titans 50 Index comprising 50-blue chip companies located throughout the Arabic-speaking region. It also signs a partnership agreement with SPAN Trading of Dubai. SPAN will be the principal provider of operational consulting, warehouse and facility design and IT integration services. SPAN will also provide PWC with warehouse storage equipment including racking, shelving and conveyors and material handling equipment on a preferred supplier basis.
2004 October: PWC purchases warehousing facility from Spinneys Lebanon and signs long-term agreement to provide the supermarket chain with warehousing and distribution services.
2005 February: PWC creates Global Clearing House Systems joint venture to compete for the Kuwait customs modernisation contract. It also acquired a Singapore-based specialised logistics company, Trans-Link Group.
2005 March: PWC signs JV agreement with Al Bateen Investment Company and Bin Jabr Group to form PWC Logistics UAE.
2005 April: Acquires US-based project logistics specialist Transoceaninc Shipping Company
2005 July: PWC signs definitive agreement to acquire US-based global freight forwarder GeoLogistics Corporation for $454 million. Another joint venture agreement was signed with Dnata to form Dnata PWC Airport Logistics to provide inter-airport logistics services.
2005 September: Completes acquisition of GeoLogistics Corporation
2006 February: PWC shares listed for trading on the Dubai Financial market.
2006 November: PWC re-brands as Agility, a new logistics leader with global launch in all headquarters simultaneously.
2007 April: Acquires leading freight forwarder, LEP International Pty Ltd in Australia and LEP International (NZ) Ltd in New Zealand as well as US based WTS of Houston, Inc (WTS), and its sister company, World Transportation Services, Inc (Global Express Line).
