German Label is the latest in the list of German companies to set up operations at the Ras Al Khaimah Free Trade Zone (RAK FTZ) in the UAE.

German Label specialises in producing ecomomically priced and very high qualitity stickers of paper, plastics and foils; stickers containing data and pictures and pre-printed and ready-printed stickers as well as printing machines and ribbons. The company also renders technical service and the programming of barcode-readers which are projected, sold and installed by German Label FZE. The company will also produce ink jet for carton-marking.
Founder of the company is Raymond Vogt, the owner of the company Stielow Label & Logistik in Norderstedt-Germany, one of the biggest companies engaged in making stickers, sticker-printing and sticker application.
German Label managing director Ernesto Woest  said: “German Label is looking forward to taking over the responsibility for all industrial needs in sticking, marking, and handling stickers in the region“. The company is planning to deliver its products all over the UAE, Saudi Arabia and other countries.
Sheikh Faisal bin Saqr Al Qassimi, chairman of RAK FTZ, inaugurated German Label at the free zone’s Technology Park.
Speaking on the occasion, he stressed that the free zone was committed to attracting technology-based industries that would add value to the industrial sector in the UAE.
Oussama El Omari, CEO of RAK FTZ, said its policy was to help investors in expanding and marketing their products
According to the free zone, the number of German companies there has exceeded 100.
Hans Sauerteig, German deputy consul general, was present at the opening.
