FTV Proclad (Singapore) Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of Kuwaiti-owned Proclad Group, one of the world’s largest cladding companies in terms of capacity and a leading provider of precision engineering and manufacturing services for the oil and gas industry, has commenced operations at its $25 million facility at Jurong Industrial Estate.
Singapore’s Minister for Trade and Industry, Lim Hng Kiang, opened the plant alongside Proclad Group chairman Dr Adel Khalid Al Sabeeh, Group CEO Yaseen Mohamed Jaffer and other senior government and industry officials.
“We welcome more enterprises like Proclad from the Gulf region to partner Singapore as they internationalise their businesses,” said Kiang.
Proclad Singapore says it will provide integration of engineering knowledge and product expertise within a supply chain to offer Southeast Asian customers efficient and cost-effective solutions.
“The Singapore plant’s strategic location combined with the city-state’s excellent logistics infrastructure and high-quality workforce will enable us to provide added value to our clients, not only in Asia but globally,” said Al Sabeeh.
