Emirates Glass has expressed its intention to capture a slice of the $40 billion-plus worth of airport expansion projects currently underway in the Gulf region.

“Such massive investments give us an ideal opportunity to seek our share of the expanding regional market,” said Ziad Yazbeck, its director of sales and marketing.
Emirates Glass, a Dubai Investment Group subsidiary, showcased its offerings at the Airport Build and Supply Exhibition in June in Dubai.  The company produces a diverse range of EmiCool Sun and EmiCool Super E2 Low-E glass products, which, it says, offers airport designers optimal solutions for their prime requirements without neglecting the value of aesthetic design.
The stand also displayed the company’s recent innovations in all aspects of glass production, including construction, fabrication and the use of facade technology.
One of the products it highlighted was the innovative, scratchproof and easy-to-clean translucent Charmline glass. The Charmline, launched recently, received a very good response from regional and global markets, the company says.
“Following the persistent regional construction boom, most of the recently announced high-profile projects have chosen architectural glass products from Emirates Glass,” said Yazbeck.
“We have been able to meet the huge recent additional demand for our products because of our substantial investment in new equipment during the past year.”
