Sigma Paints has also announced it has successfully completed supplying paint to the prestigious Bridge Arts and Science College in Education City, Doha.
The company supplied more than 60,000 litres of paint for the structure designed by Arata Isozaki of Japan and constructed by Midmac Contracting over two years.
The Bridge Arts and Science College is the pet project of Shaikha Moza bint Misnad, wife of the Emir of Qatar, and is aimed at bringing world-class education to Qatar and to the Middle East.
Sigma Paints also announced it has created a new support team to meet the demand for technical servicing within Saudi Arabia and in the decorative export areas. The team comprises a technical support manager plus the following members in each of the three regions: a support team coordinator, a decorative inspect, a samples applicator and two upgrade applicators.
In its efforts to maximise synergy between production, warehousing and the sales department, Sigma Paints decided to move the Eastern Province sales branch closer to the head office and main production facility in Dammam’s First Industrial City. An extension has been built to the head office building.
The new section houses the offices of Deco Saudi Eastern Province, PC Saudi and Export and Marketing Middle East. Additionally, the new building has a large conference room as well as a large showroom.
