Amiantit Polymers Group, a subsidiary company of the Amiantit Group of Companies, has made strong inroads in the rubber products market in the Middle East, becoming a key supplier for the sector.

The polymers group has won wide recognition for its top-quality moulded and extruded products, which meet all relevant international standards, a group spokesman said, adding it achieved a record-breaking turnover for 2004.
Three companies comprise Amiantit’s polymers group, namely Amiantit Rubber Industry Ltd (ARIL), Amiantit Plastics Manufacturing Company (AmPlas) and Amiantit Polymers Company (APCO) for Trading.  Heading the group is Abdullah A Abahussain.
The polymers group deals regularly in foam sheets, foam tubes, rubber sheets and metal- to rubber-bonded products, PVC and HDPE T-lining sheets for a variety of applications in the airconditioning and pipeline industries, railways, roadworks and water and sewerage.
“AmPlas T-lining has made its name in the sewerage industry because of its excellent quality surpassing different quality standards,” the spokesman said.
The trading company APCO was formed to facilitate supplies of non-standard items and to provide “package” options to customers.
