A record turnout is expected in Dubai at the first official exhibition chosen by the Turkish Undersecretariat of Foreign Trade for exclusively showcasing Turkish business and industry.

The show begins at the Dubai World Trade Centre on June 4 and goes on through June 6.
Called ‘Made in Turkey,’ the event had attracted by May 10 some 260 Turkish companies who will under one roof participate in simultaneous displays of the country’s construction, fashion and machinery industries.
The unique expo is being arranged by Expotim, an international fair organisation company, represented by Mosaic Organisations in Dubai.  Expotim’s mission through premier forums such as this is to contribute to the development of Turkish exports through promotion of national products and services. It also selects only ‘outstanding destinations’ and claims this is why Dubai came out as top of the list
“Dubai was chosen because of its position as the third biggest re-export market in the world after Singapore and Hong Kong and due to its central location in the Midde East,” said Bülent Erten, managing director of Expotim International Fair Organisations Inc.  “We see Dubai as a developed market which is sure to benefit from the high-quality and certified Turkish products being exhibited in June.” added Erten.
Erten said the primary aim of the ‘Made in Turkey’ showcase was to foster trade relations between Turkey and the Gulf region.
“Our target is to facilitate the building of new business contacts between Turkish companies and potential Arabic customers and also to improve and strengthen existing ones,” explained Erten. “The show gives us an opportunity to educate businesses in the region about the high quality of Turkish goods and generate a positive perception of Turkey and Turkish export products.”
The three sectors exhibiting in June are set to provide a massive boost to Turkey’s reputation through their displays of premium products from leading organisations.
‘Made in Turkey - Construction and Construction Materials’ will see the largest number of participants including representatives from the construction, building and furniture industries.
‘Made in Turkey- Machinery’ will include exhibitors from diverse trades including leading machinery and equipment manufacturers, while ‘Made in Turkey-Fashion’ will provide an attractive consumer-focused edge.
The inclusion of the fashion industry has also enabled Expotim to stage fashion shows throughout the exhibition, in which Turkish clothes and textile traders will get the chance to parade their latest looks in front of a prestigious Middle East audience.
Based in Istanbul, Turkey Expotim has been authorised and licensed by the Undersecretariat of Foreign Trade of the Turkish Prime Ministry to organise exhibitions abroad.
