

RAK Ceramics hosted 130 top architects, consultants and interior designers from South America and France for a series of presentations about the company and its products. The delegation also toured RAK Ceramics’ showrooms and factories in Ras Al Khaimah emirate to have a better understanding of RAK Ceramics’ manufacturing capability, production capacity and its stringent quality standards, a company statement said. The visit was part of an ongoing programme that aims to reach out to various target audiences worldwide and reinforce the status of RAK Ceramics as the global leader in ceramic tiles and bathware, it said. RAK Ceramics currently has the most comprehensive global distribution network with exports reaching more than 150 countries across five continents, and contributing to worldwide sales exceeding $1 billion. RAK Ceramics was recently conferred the SuperBrand 2010 Award and continues to be a global pioneer in the world of ceramics through innovative products such as Rakslim, a new brand of 4.5 mm thick tile that sets new industry benchmarks in thickness, strength, cost and ease of use. The company is also a founding member of the Emirates Green Building Council, which supports the development of sustainable buildings in the UAE.
