Emirates Gas has been awarded the Dubai Quality Award in the Dubai Quality Appreciation Programme category for achieving the highest standards in business excellence.

The Dubai Quality Awards are presented to organisations in the UAE that have demonstrated a commitment to best practices in their fields and continuous improvement in their operations.

Held under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, the Dubai Quality Awards are presented to organisations in the UAE that have demonstrated a commitment to best practices in their fields and continuous improvement in their operations.

Saeed Abdullah Khoory, Enoc chief executive, said the award underscores the company’s commitment to quality and business excellence. The company’s efforts in pursuing global best practices such as CSR initiatives and customer care systems had paid off and it was happy to be recognised as a role model, he said.

Hesham Ali Mustafa, general manager, Emirates Gas said the recognition would further motivate the company to continue pursing business excellence and deliver exemplary value to all its stakeholders.

A wholly-owned subsidiary of Enoc, Emirates Gas supplies a variety of LPG products and propane used in industrial, commercial and residential areas. It is also working with the Government of Dubai in introducing compressed natural gas as an environmentally friendly fuel alternative for public transport and automobiles in Dubai.

Last year, Emirates Gas organised 14 initiatives that focused on safety, community integration and sustainable development.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum presented the award to Khoory.
