Tripp Lite, the world’s leading manufacturer of power protection equipment, expects to achieve a higher growth rate this year compared with the previous year due to the booming regional market.
Tripp Lite has also recently appointed Active IT, an emerging leader in IT networking, as a key networking partner for its products in the UAE. The move comes at a time when Tripp Lite’s products are seeing an increased demand as the regional market for uninterruptible power supply (UPS) with up to 80 KVA capacity rating is expected to cross the $85 million mark in 2008, according to Vipin Sharma, vice president, EEMEA and India sales.
Active IT will be in charge of distributing the manufacturer’s extensive networking portfolio, which includes Rack Mount UPS systems, KVM switches, cables and connectivity products, power strips and PDUs, 19” rack systems and network management accessories.
The US-based Tripp Lite, marking its 10th year of operations in the Middle East, has consistently posted impressive year-on-year revenue results through a high-quality product portfolio, strong channel network, 15 in-country distributors and strategic alliances with leading local companies.
