Empost, the UAE’s national courier company, has introduced a new bulk shipment service under which customers will be able to have bulk shipments delivered all over the UAE at a cost of Dh7 ($1.90) for up to a 5 kg package.

The latest offering was announced by Sultan Al Midfa, CEO, Empost.
Empost has embarked on a comprehensive expansion plan, increasing its fleet of service vehicles to 425, widening its network to 225 destinations and ensuring the delivery of documents and parcels within 72 hours.
Empost now boasts a host of services that include personal collection and delivery of business or personal mail, Mandoub Service, Tawseel, Ameel, Health Pack, Jawaz, EziPack, LiteDox, EziMail, Empost Express and Empost Stores which sell a range of courier, postal and stationery products.
In another development, Empost said it was investing Dh6 million in installing an advanced IT communications system in its fleet of delivery vans and motorcycles.
Empost will also benefit from the ‘track and trace’ technology through GPS.
