British manufacturer Camden Electronics, which is currently seeking distributors in several countries, has introduced a new range of instrumentation module cases designed for quick and easy fitment to DIN standard guides.

Manufactured to DIN 43880 dimensions, the units come in sizes of single, two, three, four, six and nine modules that take up to three printed circuit boards. Made from grey, flam- retardant Noryl to UL94-VO, the cases have optional transparent red, clear or solid grey front panels to allow visual inspection of the contents of the unit or an integral display. The modules have a standard screwdriver release mechanism and snap-fit terminal covers which provide protection up to IP20. A choice of solid or 5.08/10.16mm perforated terminal covers is available. In addition, the six- and nine-unit boxes have an option of single or twin sets of terminal covers. Available in kit form, the units have a tool-less snap-together construction of a base section, module box, terminal cover and DIN guide clip.

Camden is a leading manufacturer and supplier of terminal blocks, relay bases, fuses and fuse holders, DIL switches and micro switches, among other products. Other new products include a plug-top fused terminal block that takes standard 1-inch mains or 5x20mm glass or ceramic cartridge fuses. The Camden CMFTB series of plug-top fused terminal blocks is available in single-, double- or triple-pole types, each featuring a dovetail interlocking mechanism to permit the addition of extra fuse lines. The range is designed for electrical equipment requiring easy fuse maintenance and replacement.
