A 10-page colour brochure on high-performance Flexalloy thermosplastic elastometer (TPE) compounds from the Vinyl division of Teknor Apex includes detailed information on grades for a broad range of applications, the company said. The brochure outlines the physical properties of Flexalloy compounds, which are based on ultra-high-molecular-weight PVC. The product line includes series of grades specifically for automotive, medical, wire and cable and general-purpose applications as well as series with enhanced oil-resistance and chemical-resistance grades.

"Comparative data included in the brochure demonstrate that Flexalloy products for injection moulding and extrusion consistently outperform general-purpose flexible PVC compounds and many other TPE," Teknor Apex said.

Teknor Apex, a privately held firm headquartered in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, USA, is a producer of custom and standard compounds based on polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and thermoplastic elastomers.
