3i Infotech Limited, a global provider of IT solutions and services, has announced that the Shanfari group of companies has successfully implemented Orion to maximise the efficiency of its business processes.

“Orion enabled Shanfari to better manage the demands of its growing business and expansion plans by improving access to critical information across the group, leading to enhanced management capabilities,” a 3i Infotech statement said. Orion, 3i Infotech’s leading enterprise information solution, has been implemented in Shanfari group companies such as Shanfari Holding Company, Shanfari Trading and Contracting and Shanfari Ready Mix cement. The implementation integrates the group’s operations onto one platform, providing management with a single point of access to critical information.
“Shanfari Group approached 3i Infotech after assessing its needs for a centralised ERP system with enhanced management capabilities. Orion met those requirements and the group is able to enjoy on-demand access to information for effective and quicker decision-making,” the statement said. Modules that are rolled out in Shanfari include general ledger, accounts receivables, accounts payables, budgeting, and inventory management, sales order management and human resource and payroll.
