

MESC Specialized Cables will supply $4.3 million worth of instrumentation cables to SK Engineering & Construction of Korea, which is working on a Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) project, MESC general manager Hashem Al Huneidi announced.
The cables will be used for KOC’s “Facility Upgrade and Relocation of UG Pipelines” project in Kuwait, one of the biggest in the region.
“International awareness of the MESC brand has paid off in a way that it has become the primary brand name in the Middle Eastern cables industry,” said Al Huneidi. Since, its inception, one of the company’s priorities has been to focus on upgrading technology and launching a comprehensive range of products, the official added.

“We appreciate the confidence SK Engineering & Construction has shown in MESC products, knowing that it’s not the first time we join hands with them especially in Kuwait.” MESC supplied instrumentation and control cables for the KNPC- Ahmadi Refinery project in 2002.
