Jotun Paints has opened new offices in Bilda Mall, Riyadh, in a fresh move to strengthen its presence in Saudi Arabia. The company, one of the world’s leading producers and suppliers of paints and coatings, had its new facilities inaugurated by Carl Schiotz Wibye, Norwegian ambassador to Saudi Arabia, in the presence of Jotun Group senior officials and guests. Jotun said the new offices would act as its sales, marketing and administrative complex and also house the protective marine and powder functions. 'The opening reflects Jotun’s continuing business growth in the kingdom and also complements the company’s initiatives that are aimed at providing better customer service,' a company statement said on the occasion of the inauguration. Strong presence in kingdom Jotun Saudia maintains a strong presence with a total of over two environmental friendly factories in the key locations of Yanbu and Jeddah. Its new offices are located within accessible distance to the warehouse and customer service department (CSD) and maintain a fully computerised set-up, which is equipped with the latest communication software allowing for 24/7 seamless connection to the Jotun global network. Jotun’s warehousing and CSD facilities will still be based in its old facility in Solay, Riyadh. 'The opening of our new Jotun offices in Saudi Arabia shows the continued business growth that we are enjoying in the country and also marks our commitment to better serve our growing customer base,' said Kjell Gundersen, managing director, Jotun Saudia Co Ltd. A leader in decorative paints Jotun Saudia Company Limited, an offshoot of the Norwegian giant Jotun Paints, is one of the Middle East’s top paint manufacturers and suppliers. The company, which was started more than 25 years ago, is now a leader in decorative paints in the kingdom.
