Albany Door Systems has developed RapidProtect, a high-performance machine protection door. The RapidRoll 300 MP emphasises shorter cycle times, improved maintenance access and pluggable connections.
The cycle times of the door can be reduced by up to 18 per cent. For clients this means increased flow and production speed.
“The service has become easier: for maintenance purposes the door can be run with open side frames. At the same time access to all necessary parts is increased,” says a company text. The side frames are made from anodised aluminium with integrated passing protection. Pluggable connections allow for a simple exchange in case of perturbation.
“The high performance door of the RapidRoll series stands for reliability and safe operation in daily industry. It can be smoothly integrated into every customer installation,” says the company.
“Shorter cycle times allow increased productivity at steady costs. Good access and intelligent details decrease maintenance requirements immensely, which is also an advantage reflected on the cost side,” it said.
”With their long life span, reliability through the years and low maintenance operation requiring little space, machine protection doors from Albany Door Systems are durable helpers in highly automated production.”
While introducing the product, the company said: “For reasons of work protection as well as production conditions, it is sometimes explicitly desirable to separate man and machine so that dust, flying sparks and welding splatter cannot propose any danger.”
