Angela Schaschen, managing director of Deutsche Messe Dubai, said: “The economic upswing in the previous years has given a tremendous impetus to the fields of logistics, industry and automation, not only in the GCC region but the wider Middle East region as well. It is our vision and commitment to encompass and attract exhibitor and visitor interest from countries like Iran, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Libya in addition to the GCC region that are rapidly strengthening their manufacturing and industrial infrastructure.”
Obvious choice
Schaschen said Dubai was the obvious choice for us when it came to selecting the venue to host the new trade show profiles. “The city is rightly regarded as the trade show capital of the Middle East, given its world-class infrastructure, the maturity of its hospitality sector and its major achievements in various fields like engineering, architecture, trade and commerce,” she added.
Being specifically launched to cover the wider Middle East, Africa, the Indian sub-continent, CIS and the Central Asian region, the new shows will leverage the synergies that evolve from a unique combination of three highly-focused trade show profiles.
“They will provide the perfect platform, as well as serving as an annual meeting place and forum for exhibitors from all over the world to network with leaders from the entire region in key technology areas while showcasing the latest innovations in their respective domains,” Deutsche Messe Dubai said.
