The manufacturing process meets international standards

Extensive in-house research and develop-ment at Kuwait Furniture Manufacturing & Trading Company (Kufuma) has helped it advance to one of the top spots in the industry in the Middle East.

Kufuma is also among a few companies in Kuwait able to implement major govern-ment and private projects. It was the first of its kind in the country to achieve the ISO 9001:2000 certification from European Quality Assurance Ltd, UK.
Kufuma specialises in the manufacture and trading of furniture for the office, home, hotel and bank, and is well known for its fitted wardrobes, kitchen cabinets and doors as well as custom-made production.
The company’s production facilities are spread across 20,000 sq m at the Subhan Industrial Area. The company offers a thorough package including specifications, design, layout, supply of material, production and supervision of installation.
“Our aim is to enhance the Kufuma name as a trademark in the furniture industry,” a company spokesman says.

Kufuma also has the latest machinery and expertise in architectural woodwork and kitchens.
“The primary objective of the custom-made division is to produce unique customised products that satisfy every whim of the customer. The division has vastly experienced interior designers who have complete knowledge in every aspect of design from the traditional to the modern. Providing a touch of Arabic heritage is a speciality of the division.”
