Trespa International has highlighted the use of two kinds of panels, namely Trespa Virtuon and Trespa Toplab Plus, for protection against the dangers caused by bacteria and dirt in healthcare facilities, busy public buildings and transportation terminals.
The company also stresses that Trespa panels deliver significant savings in cleaning costs without loss of performance.
Trespa Virtuon an interior solid resin panel. Available in a range of fashionable colours, its top layer is impermeable with a very low surface energy so dirt has little opportunity to grab hold.
Trespa Virtuon panels are produced using proprietary electronic beam curing (EBC) technology, which means that the resin in the panel’s top layer is cured by an electron beam, giving it a smooth, impermeable and impact-resistant surface with a unique brilliance and long-lasting aesthetic appeal.
Trespa TopLab Plus is a self-supporting flat panel with a cellulose fibre reinforced phenolic resin core, manufactured using Trespa’s proprietary EBC process. Panels have an integrated, decorative surface and are resistant to the most aggressive chemicals and are easy to clean, disinfect and maintain.
Durable Trespa TopLab Plus is used in chemical, analytical, micro-biological and educational laboratories world-wide. The panels can be easily machined and adapted to the technical needs of the laboratory and are available in large sheet sizes, so joints which can harbour dirt are minimised or eliminated.
