Steel fabricator Fitwell Metal Industries has upgraded its manufacturing facility by installing state-of-the-art machinery and adding a painting and blasting division.

Operating out of its facility in the Al Aweer Industrial Area, the company fabricates from heavy, medium and light structural steel and specialises in fabricating power plant and oilfield equipment.  It also performs a range of engineering jobs including those on hoppers, silos, ducts, chutes, piping, pipe supports, clamps platforms, handrails, tanks and walkways as well as shearing and bending, plate rolling, CNC profile cutting, anchor and U bolts and roll threading.
Its manufacturing facility is said to be the largest of its kind in the area with a monthly fabrication capacity of up to 500 tonnes per month of material in heavy, medium and light structural steel.
Fitwell can also provide complete abrasive blasting and painting services through its newly added division.
According to managing director Anthony Pereira, Fitwell was set up with a vision to become a leading name in the fabrication field by providing quality products and services at competitive price and good customer support.

Strict quality control is maintained at all stages. All incoming material undergoes inspection to ensure it meets specifications. Process inspections are carried out at production, shearing/cutting, forming, machine, drilling, welding and finishing stages to ensure the item conforms to the required specifications.
Fitwell is a division of Al Naesar Trading Company and Steel Tec Trading. Al Naesar is the distributor for internationally known brands, including ETC, Stabila, UPAT/Fischer, Schulz, Sandvik, IML /OMC, Pelox.
With this resultant synergism of expertise and support, Fitwell has envisaged a phenomenal expansion, in the recent past, he says.
The Fitwell machine shop is equipped with all the necessary tools and machines for fulfilling fabrication orders. There is a range of bolts such as U bolts, J bolts and foundation bolts as well as facilities for roll threading, profile cutting and waterjet cutting. The steel metal shop can undertake stainless steel and mild steel shearing and bending for doors, trays, air conditioning ducts, ridge ventilators, plate rolling and angle rolling.
Some of its clients are Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority, Dubai Airport, Dubai Ports, Adgas and Nakheel.
