UAE company Light Communication & Network Systems (LCNS) has come a long way since 1991 when it began operations in consutancy services for networking, internal communication and information technology.

Over the years the company, part of the Al Sayegh Group, has shifted its focus from basic networking and email/internet configuration to its ultimate focus – security — though it still maintains a balance by supplying interactive voice response systems as well as workstations and servers.
“We cater to clients’ project requirements for comprehensive and total integrated solutions for enterprise-wide management information systems,” says Vijay Khanna, marketing manager, LCNS.
“Our review of the market place indicates that many vendors can provide the automated systems. However, we are among a few who are capable of assisting clients in planning, developing and implementing highly complex management and information technology projects,” he said.
“From the past two years we are into system integration – we do turnkey solution for structured cabling, fiber optic cabling, CCTV, access control and telephony systems. In telephony systems we do Panasonic and Nortel systems. Most of our major clients are big construction companies or big consultants such as Khatib Alami, Arenco and W S Atkins.
Khanna said the company was able to retain customers thanks to the round-the-clock service it provided. While the number of clients was not much, the business volume was good as the company received many repeat orders. The company has 10 people and its vision is to have another seven by the end of next year.
LCNS has acquired partnerships to provide world-class security solutions to the market. These include Embarcadaro and Symantec. Recently the company tied up with Ramco Systems to cater to the region’s growing demand for enterprise solutions.
Ramco, based in India, is a global provider of enterprise solutions and services in key areas such as manufacturing, aviation, asset management, trading and logistics, healthcare, eGovernance, banking and financial services, corporate performance management and human resources management.
The company’s information security division, Ramco Radar offers a full range of security consulting, security technology provisioning and security management services across a diverse cross-section of businesses such as banking and finance, stockbroking and commodity trading, telecommunications, software development, pharmaceutical, government and defence. The solutions help keep  both internal and external threats at bay.
LCNS attributes its success to achieving real results for the clients, maintaining a high standard of customer satisfaction and establishing long-term client relationships.
