Dr Mansoor Al Awar, vice president, eTQM College, Dubai, has been named lead assessor by the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM), after successfully completing the European Assessor Test.
This makes him the first UAE national to attain this qualification and become a lead assessor for EFQM.
Dr Al Awar will now become part of EFQM’s network of several hundred assessors spread across Europe and beyond. This will also expose him and the college to both current and future assessment techniques based on Europe’s most widely used management framework.
Being an EFQM assessor entails carrying out a full assessment of various types of organisations, becoming part of EFQM’s network of several hundred experienced assessors spread across Europe and beyond, and exposure to both current and future assessment techniques based on Europe’s most widely-used management framework.
The certificate implies that Dr Al Awar is certified to train the trainers.
“This certificate is a great honour for eTQM College in general and to me in particular,” he said. EFQM is the primary source for organisations throughout Europe trying to excel in their market and in their business. Based in Brussels, it brings together over 700 members, organisations and partners situated in every geographical region across the globe. EFQM is a not-for-profit membership foundation focused on serving its members’ information and networking needs.
