The International Fashion Jewellery & Accessories Fair (IFJA), the only specialised show of its kind in the region, and International Watch & Clock Fair (IWCF), which ran concurrently at Dubai World Trade Centre, recorded a 20 per cent growth in exhibitor participation.
The twin fairs showcased the trendiest and most exclusive products in fashion jewellery and watches,” said Emad Al Hawai, managing director, International Expositions. The fairs were designed to tap the growing potential for fashion accessories, boosted by a market that has a large number of individuals with high purchasing parity and tendency to spend on exclusive high-quality accessories.
Exhibitors from more than 16 countries launched their latest innovation and trends in fashion jewellery, silver jewellery, beads, pearls, semi-precious stones, designers’ jewellery, hair ornaments, complete watches, branded watches, clocks, machinery & packaging and parts and components at the IFJA and IWCF shows.
The IFJA and IWCF showcased exhibits from top designers, international companies targeting products for the Mena distribution channels, international export associations, global manufacturers, re-exporters, distributors, wholesales, publishing houses, and shop fitting and decoration companies.
Among the highlights this year was a strong presence of UAE-based companies aggressively vying for the growing market of the Middle East and neighbouring countries.
