Zamil Air Conditioners (ZAC) produced its 500,000th room air conditioning unit for 2003.  The half-millionth unit produced during the year rolled off the production line at the company’s  Dammam factory on 28 December 2003.

Ahmed A. Al Zamil, President of Zamil Air Conditioners, thanked the entire production team for their contribution and awarded certificates of appreciation.
Zamil’s air conditioning products are marketed under various brand names such as Classic, Cooline, Cool Care, Clima Tech, Kessler Tech and Geoclima. 
ZAC is also involved in the production of branded air conditioners for leading international manufacturers Sanyo and Supra under an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) agreement. It operates a joint venture with General Electric, called Middle East Air Conditioners Ltd. (MEAC) and produces a range of GE-branded air conditioning consumer products for Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries.
ZAC is ISO 9001-2000 certified and also holds the American Refrigeration Institute (ARI) certificate.  It also runs the Air Conditioning Technology Centre.
