ViewSonic expands Mideast presence

ViewSonic: reaching out to the Middle East market

US-based ViewSonic Corp, a leading global provider of visual solution products, has partnered with the UAE-based Abcom Solutions, a distributor and solution provider of professional audio visual and IT products.

In a joint statement, the partners said that the collaboration comes at a time when the regional market for AV solutions, estimated $3 billion upwards, was on a robust growth turf.

Johnson Choi, director of sales and marketing, ViewSonic, said: “We are very excited about this partnership that will help us accelerate our growth plans for the region.”

“With Abcom coming into the picture, we believe that our reach to market in terms of our range of products as well as creating awareness on our company will increase manifold,” he said.

ViewSonic, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary, also launched its new collaborative solutions Simplify Complexity range comprising digital white boards and display solutions, which the new partnership will introduce to the UAE market, said a statement from the company.

Abcom said the addition of ViewSonic to its portfolio will strengthen its strategy of bringing cutting edge products to the market.

“The vast range of ViewSonic interactive AV product range will allow us meet the increasing demand of the market for sophisticated and innovative products,” said Harold Fernandes, general manager, Abcom Solutions.

ViewSonic said that the partnership and its new range of collaborative solutions will help the global company increase its market share in the UAE.

Elaborating on its `Simplify Complexity,’ range, ViewSonic said that it helps sharing new ideas and content on a collaborative platform. 

Choi added: “Our goal is to encourage our customers to keep up with trends in technology by offering products that are easy to integrate and have a more intuitive feel.”

“Our partnership with some of the most dynamic software and hardware companies in the industry has helped us develop our most high-performance and user-friendly Interactive Flat Panels, Corporate Displays, and Projectors to date,” he said.

ViewSonic said its new range of products which were showcased at the Middle East’s largest education event, GESS 2017, include ViewBoard IFP8650 digital whiteboard from its Interactive Flat Display line. 

The company is a collaborative large format display solution with models specialised for corporate and education and is available in 75-inch and 86-inch with a slot-in PC, which makes installation and connection easy in any environment.

Features such as ViewBoard’s exclusive Floating Pen and One-Touch to Google Drive Save functions, give it an edge over the competition to storing and sharing content. Built-in applications such as vBoard annotation software and vMeeting powered by Zoom for document sharing and video conferencing add to ViewBoard’s versatile toolkit.

ViewSonic will also be introducing some new models to its ePoster digital signage series with its EP1042T and EP5520 to the market which delivers high-impact multimedia messages from up-close for a more intimate approach to signage.

From the company’s digital signage line, ViewSonic featured its CDX5552 display, which sports an ultra-narrow 3.5 mm bezel and 4K Ultra HD capability, it stated.
