Eppco Lubricants, the UAE manufacturer and supplier of Eppco, Enoc and Caltex lubricants, has launched into the Emirates the highest API CH-4 standards, diesel and gasoline engine oil & Caltex Delo 400, which is also the first of its kind in the Gulf.
Caltex Delo 400, the world's first oil to meet the new global DHD-1 specification of European, Asian and US manufacturers, was unveiled to 200 high-volume Eppco Lubricants clients, during a technical advice and support seminar held at Le Meridien Hotel, Dubai.
"This flagship, heavy-duty, diesel-engine oil, is a top-tier product that differentiates us from the competition," said Mohammed El Sadek, marketing manager, Eppco Lubricants. "It recently received the ''2001 World's Automotive Product Annual Award' for its outstanding performance. Caltex Delo 400 radically reduces maintenance downtime as tests have shown it lasts twice as long as its nearest competitor.
"Caltex Delo 400's technologically advanced capabilities deliver enhanced customer benefits in terms of operating costs and fleet maintenance. It uses the latest additive technology to provide exceptional performance and wear protection.
"In today's highly competitive road transport and construction sectors, downtime means money and the more it can be reduced the more productivity increases."
Caltex Delo 400's performance standards have received approvals by automotive industry powerhouses Mercedes and Volvo and are designed to operate under the most extreme service conditions.
"Catering to a fleet mix of American, European and Japanese vehicles, the new Caltex Delo 400 Multigrade is specifically designed for the latest electronically controlled diesel engines experiencing high spot loading, such as buses, lorries, containers and waste collection trucks," added Sadek.
"It can be used in engines designed to meet the strictest emissions standards regulations. Other applications include agricultural tractors, farm machinery and mobile hydraulic systems."
Eppco Lubricants will reach approximately 2,000 current and potential customers through a UAE direct marketing campaign, outlining Delo 400's cutting-edge technology and competitive advantages.
During the seminar Eppco Lubricants also unveiled new brand names and packaging for Delo's retail product range. Delo 300 has been rebranded Delo Silver and Delo 500 is now called Delo Gold.
