Bilaloglu: Audi's Middle East-Egypt helmsman
Audi AG Middle East & Egypt has announced that Ali Emir Bilaloglu will be the new regional managing director for the Middle East and Egypt. The headquarters of the regional office is Dubai.
Born in Istanbul, Bilaloglu studied business engineering in Germany and brings with him more than 15 years' experience including previous positions held within the Audi group where he started in the controlling division in 1991. Following this he was made area sales manager in 1993 and then moved into the role of general manager, automotive division, Audi AG/Samaco, in Saudi Arabia in 1996.
Before joining the Audi team in Dubai, Bilaloglu held the post of director for business development and strategy, Dogus Automotiv (the third largest holding of Turkey importing VW, Seat, Skoda Audi, Porsche and Scania).
Prior to this he was deputy export manager Porsche AG from 1998 onwards.
