Raghadan ahead with new products

Ragadhan Paints is one of the Middle East’s largest paint companies

New products and an aggressive sales policy have helped Raghadan boost its sales turnover and respond to paint and building materials needs from the industrial, commercial and residential segments.

Raghadan, one of the Arab world’s largest paint companies, recently installed a new production line to make tile and ceramics adhesives, grouts, cement finishes, fillers for cracks and protection products for roofs.

It also lately launched a decorative paint called Raghadan Velvet, which has a velvet effect and is promoted as the first of its kind to be manufactured in the Gulf region. Another product introduced recently was Raghadan Atoshinto, a decorative paint that evokes a pearly look and is said to be a good agent for reflecting light.

The product range includes emulsion and enamel paints, texture and decorative paints, NC and industrial paints, wood coatings and varnishes.  “Raghadan is continuing expansion in the region and continuing research of new product lines buoyed by demand and is seeking to diversify into new areas of building materials to cope with the current boom in construction in the Middle East,” said managing director Dr Hisham Ali.

“The company is currently eyeing new markets in the Middle East,” he added. It is also a sole agent for Japan’s Kansai Paint Co’s architectural paints; Italy’s Colorificio San Marco for its offerings in  marble effects/special effects; Levis (Akzo Noble) of Europe and Vernisi Egideo Milesi (Italy) for their wood coatings, and Cristoforo Tixe D’Arenzano, the Italian firm well known for its metallic paints.

The company has announced it will have
another ambitious expansion.
