The King Fahd Industrial Port in Yanbu handled 2,494 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) in September 2026 through the Red Sea Express service. 

The total included 1,494 TEUs of Sabic products for export and 1,000 empty TEUs, a Saudi Press Agency (SPA) report said.

Growing activity

The performance reflects growing activity at the port’s general cargo and container terminal, operated by Red Sea Gateway Terminal (RSGT). 

The Red Sea Express provides a regular and reliable shipping service for industrial companies in Yanbu, connecting them to a wider network of ports and shipping routes while supporting national exports and enhancing logistics efficiency.—TradeArabia News Service
