Saudi Steel Pipe Company (SSP) has announced that it has won a SAR73 million ($19.2 million) contract to supply steel pipes for oil and gas to Saudi oil giant Aramco.

A major player in the regional energy sector, SSP is a leading manufacturer and supplier of electrically resistance welded steel pipes (ERW) for the energy, industrial and construction segments in the Middle East and North Africa. 

It offers oil and gas customers a full range of products including oil country tubular goods (OCTG), Line Pipe, API and Premium Connections and related accessories and services.

As per the deal, the entire work will be completed within a eight-month period, said SSP in its filing to Saudi bourse Tadawul.

The financial impact is expected to be reflected in the second half of 2027, it added.

The Saudi pipe major said this comes close on the heels of similar Aramco contract wins worth SAR284.7 ($75.2 million).

Also early this year, Saudi Steel Pipe said one of its consolidated subsidiaries, Global Pipe Company, had clinched a significant supply contract from Subsea Seven (SS7), a leader in offshore energy engineering and construction.

As per the SAR300 million ($80 million) deal, Global Pipe Company will be supplying specialised line pipes for a major offshore redevelopment project being executed by Subsea Seven by year-end.-TradeArabia News Service
