Aluminium Bahrain (Alba), the world's largest aluminium smelter on one site, has signed up as a supporting partner for the inaugural 'Made in GCC 2026 Forum and Exhibition' to be held at Exhibition World Bahrain next month.
Held under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the support of other GCC leaders, the expo will bring together government and industry leaders to advance GCC industrial cooperation and integration.
Made in GCC 2026 will bring together government leaders, manufacturers, investors, innovators and industry stakeholders from across the Gulf region to strengthen regional industrial cooperation, advance innovation and sustainable industrial development, and enhance the competitiveness and global reach of GCC-made products.
A cornerstone of Bahrain’s economy, Alba is the world’s largest aluminium smelter on one site and a trusted supplier of high-quality aluminium products to more than 290 customers worldwide.
Backed by over 50 years of operational excellence, responsible production and sustainable growth, the company produced more than 1.623 million MT aluminium in 2025 and serves global markets through its sales offices in Europe and Asia, as well as its subsidiary in the US.
Alba said its participation in Made in GCC 2026 reflects the growing strength and global competitiveness of the GCC’s industrial sector, and reinforces the region’s position as a trusted source of high-quality, responsibly manufactured products.
As part of the exhibition, Alba will showcase its comprehensive aluminium product portfolio and its approach to sustainability across the aluminium value chain, highlighting how innovation and responsible production can support the continued growth and global competitiveness of GCC industry.
A key highlight will be EternAl, Alba’s low-carbon aluminium product line, which includes solutions featuring recycled content as well as verified in-house carbon offsets, enabling customers to advance their sustainability objectives while maintaining the highest standards of quality and performance, it stated.
The global aluminium leader’s participation also highlights the role of cross-border industrial collaboration in strengthening regional capabilities, expanding opportunities across GCC value chains and raising the international profile of Gulf-made products.
Through Made in GCC 2026, Alba will engage with government, industry and investment leaders from across the region and beyond, while showcasing the capabilities that have enabled GCC manufacturers to compete successfully in global markets, it stated.
