Leading project management executives and industry experts from around the world are in Riyadh for the fifth edition of the Global Project Management Forum (GPMF 2026) where they will get to share international best practices and exchange expertise aimed at improving project delivery.

The three-day event, being held at the Fairmont Riyadh under the theme "Next-Gen PM: People, Processes & Technology," was inaugurated by Saudi Arabia's Minister of Municipalities and Housing Majed Al Hogail.

The Forum comes as Saudi Arabia expands its project management ecosystem as part of efforts to improve implementation efficiency and support development projects and initiatives, reported SPA.

The key event saw industry experts put focus on the role of people, processes and technology in the next generation of project management, said the organisers.

Events such as these will help boost the kingdom's role as a platform for international knowledge and expertise in project management, they stated.

Leading companies at the Forum got to network with other firms are also discuss changes in business environments, sharing international best practices and exchanging expertise aimed at improving project delivery and increasing the economic and developmental impact of projects.

The event is being attended by public- and private-sector professionals, senior executives, project, programme and portfolio managers, engineering and consulting firms, entrepreneurs and young professionals, it added.
